It is unwise to pay too much but it is worse to pay too little.
When you pay too much, you loose a little money – that’s all.
When you pay too little you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought is incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot – it cannot be done.
If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run. And if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better.

John Ruskin, Victorian Entrepreneur 1890

Are these the only Plans?

When you register with the practice you do not have to join a particular plan. We are happy to provide treatment with a Pay As You Go option. We will arrange to see you for a new patient dental examination, which in subsequent years becomes an annual exam. This payment option does not involve a monthly direct debit payment to the practice, and may suit those patients with less than six teeth or who currently wear full dentures in both jaws. All treatment provided under this plan incurs a fee, with no discounts given. For more details click HERE.

When will my account be activated?

Once you have returned all your completed membership registration documents to the practice, we will send you confirmation of receipt of the documents and in that letter we will indicate your date of registration with the practice and the start date of your first direct debit payment.

As we are a small business we are unable to offer different dates for the direct debit to leave your account. Currently at the moment the date of our direct debit from all members accounts is on or about 26th of each month, only changing if that date falls on a weekend or bank holiday.

Are there any Discounts?

All members of the Essential, Everyday or Total Care Plans receive a 15% discount (compared to our Pay As You Go payment option) on any of the fees for those treatments not already included in their particular plan. The plans encourage regular dental care, so we want to reward those people who choose this route for their dental care, by discounting our routine fees. They also help you budget for the cost of your dental care.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes…but remember that each payment plan has a contracted period of 12 or 24 months, so we expect that any outstanding fees associated with the rest of that contract term be settled with the practice. As part of our terms and conditions with each of the contracts, we require at least 2 months notice in writing that you wish to end your membership of a particular plan. If you are a Pay As You Go practice member, then we just require notification in writing that you wish to leave the practice. That way we will know that you want to leave and can take all your details off our database, to avoid unnecessary mailings and emails.

What About Children? How do they register with the practice?

Children’s dental health is very important to us and with today’s knowledge and hygiene products, it should be possible to get every child into adulthood without having fillings or other dental treatment.

All members of the practice are offered a free annual examination for their children, while under 18 years old. Please note that only children who have a parent or parents at the practice can join the practice. Unfortunately Grandparents are not the legal guardian of their grand children, so are therefore not able to make decisions about their grandchildren’s treatment and we cannot let them register their grand children with us.

What happens if a child needs a filling or other dental treatment?

We will be working hard to try and stop this happening, but we feel that if any treatment is required we want to do it as well as possible, with good quality materials and in a relaxed and non rushed atmosphere. Any treatment done on children needs to last a long time, but children are often harder to treat and require more time than most adults. This is why we charge a fee for any treatment that we provide for children.
